We need your help!Kraft Hockeyville is a national competition that celebrates communities with a passion for hockey, awarding $250,000 for arena upgrades and an NHL preseason game to the winner. This year, KDMHA is supporting the township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal in nominating the Spencerville Arena to be named Kraft Hockeyville.

- Nomination & Rally: Jan 1, 2026 (12:00 p.m. ET) – Mar 1, 2026 (11:59 p.m. ET)
- Judging: Mar 2 – Mar 14, 2026
- Provincial & Territorial Winners Announced: Mar 14, 2026
- Top 2 Announcement: Mar 21, 2026
- Voting: Apr 3, 2026 (9:00 a.m. ET) – Apr 4, 2026 (5:00 p.m. ET)

How You Can Help Spencerville Earn Points

Once logged in, you can earn points by:

Story Submission – 10 points each(Kaitlin, Erin, Jess, and I will work on one for our team. We’ll need some video footage at an upcoming practice.)

Photo Uploads – 3 points per photo, max 5 per person (We’ve already submitted the photos taken at practice.)

20% of the overall judging criteria.

We would love to see our KDMHA families participate! If each parent contributes— it will make a meaningful difference showing support for our players' future ice time.
Spencerville needs all the support it can get, and this could be an incredible opportunity for our community.
What's next
Following the nomination and rally phase (January 1 to March 1), Hockeyville judges will review the nominations and select a winner from every province and territory, each receiving $50,000 for arena upgrades, or more, if the community advances to the Top 2.
From there, the judges will announce the Top 2 finalists selected from the Provincial and Territorial winners, who will then compete head-to-head in a nationwide vote to determine the Kraft Hockeyville 2026 grand prize winner!
